An agricultural exporter running fruit plantations across several countries
Problem
Fruit that leaves a plantation for a supermarket abroad has to answer questions before it is allowed on the shelf: which field, which day, which crew, what was sprayed and when, and whether the pre-harvest interval was respected. The answers are born in the field, where there is no signal, no outlet and no time to type. The company had them on paper, in trucks, a week late, and every audit was a reconstruction.
Solution
We put the record where the fruit is. Each crew, lot and row has an identity. Harvest, spraying and quality are captured in the field on phones that work for days without a network and sync in order when they find one. The agronomists' rules are enforced on the device: a row inside its spraying interval cannot be harvested, whoever is holding the phone. At the packing plant, one pallet scan closes the chain from the row to the container. Conflicts resolve by the rules of the crop, not by whoever uploaded last.
Outcome
Every box traces back to the row, the day and the hands, and the certifier sees it without a reconstruction. Decisions that used to wait for the truck are made the same morning. The platform runs across countries and crops, on the same phones, in places where nothing else works.
